Forklift Solutions is expanding! Our family owned and operated business is seeking a key  member to join our team. The ideal candidate will have extensive knowledge of all areas of  heavy equipment maintenance, forklift repair and possess no less than 5 years experience.  Opportunities are available for both full time hours as well as flexible and/or part-time hours, a  suitable position for semi-retired professionals with industry experience.  

REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS:  

▪ Journeyman Automotive Technician.  

▪ Journeyman Heavy Duty Technician.  

▪ Valid Class 5 Driver’s License.  

▪ Mechanical aptitude, technical skills, and problem-solving abilities.  

▪ Effective communication (oral and written).  

▪ A high level of honesty and integrity coupled with ambition and drive.  

▪ Energetic and self-motivated team player.  

▪ Excellent people, organizational and communication skills.  

▪ Strong attention to detail and problem-solving abilities.  

▪ Assertive decision making and recommendations.  

ADVANTAGEOUS QUALIFICATIONS:  

▪ Electrical forklift experience is an asset.  

▪ Experience with both propane engines and diesel engines considered an asset.  

PREREQUISITES:  

▪ Supply and maintain own tools.  

EXPERIENCE:  

▪ Forklift technician: 5 years minimum required  

LICENSE/CERTIFICATION:  

▪ Journeyman Automotive Technician  

▪ Journeyman Heavy Duty Technician  

▪ Valid Class 5 Driver’s License
